Powderpuff!!

Today, sports bring me joy. I love watching them, but mostly I love playing them. Today I had soccer practice and then played in a powederpuff football tournament! It was a blast! We didn't win any games but we had a TON of fun! (: Sports are a huge part of my life. I miss watching football. It is during our soccer games now. But, football is such a huge part of high school. The lights, cool fall nights, cheering fans keeping their hands warm with a a steaming cup of capuccino, hats and mittens, and late nights with friends. It is so much fun. I saw this music video last week, and I love it! I think it is just so sweet. So in following my love for sports here is "The Boys of Fall" by Kenny Chesney.

Family

Today it is my family that brings me joy. They are always there for me even if it is just for a quick chat. I love hearing about their lives at home while I HATE missing everything. I love that we can still stay in touch and have mastered the skype dates (: and I am amazed at technology once again that it is possible for me to see their beautiful faces from so far away. I miss them more than they know but it has been such a blessing also to be out on my own taking what they have taught me and making it reality.



Also, I am reading the book "Captivating" (I highly reccomend it) and today's chapter was about mothers and the mother daughter relationship. So I want to tell my mother... I LOVE YOU! You do so much for me and I cherish the relationship that we share.

Roomie

Today, what brings me joy is my roommate Merissa! She is so much fun to have around and we both express our same love for sleep (: I finally got to meet her for supper tonight (it had been way too long), and cheer her on in her intermural soccer game (she's a stud, just saying), and catch up with her at the volleyball game. She is such a great person and I LOVE having her around!
