(p.s. The summer countdown is down to 30 days!) 1 Lesson down and 2 more to go. The first one went so well! I had 4 first graders and we had so much fun. I go back to the same group tomorrow for another hour to finish the lesson and then I go to a different first grade room where me and 3 other girls have planned a math lesson for the whole class. This time the teachers actually leave school and go home and we are in charge!! We planned a bunch of games and activities that have to do with patterns. They have just finished patterns so we just get to have fun with it :) I'm very excited. I also had my astronomy test today and I'm pretty sure I dominated it :)
Another joy today was my night tonight. After talking with my dad both on skype and on the phone for a bit and going to walmart to get sidewalk chalk for my lesson on Friday, I got to go to the roof of the science building and look at stars, the moon, a nebula, and Saturn through a giant telescope in a dome. It was incredible! I can't believe how big and powerful our God is that he could create them. It was breath-taking. And yes Saturn does look exactly like the pictures we draw of it with its rings around it. I didn't think I would be there long, but it turned out to be an hour and a half because I was having so much fun. How great is our God!!Inspired by Ann Voskamp's book 1,000 Gifts, I am on the lookout for God's unending flow of blessings in each day and each moment. I don't want any more of those moments to pass me by. Follow my search for joy in each day and maybe you too can look for the smallest ways God reveals himself in your own life.

And... I wore shorts to classes :) I wore capris in the morning, but I got too warm! so, I put on some shorts. I was so excited. I can hardly wait till summer!!
