This weekend was full of joy as all my friends moved in to Dordt. It had been a long week of soccer, soccer, and more soccer. But now it is beginning to feel more like the old Dordt I know and love. I got to spend a lazy Sunday with my friends, got a long nap in the afternoon, picked up groceries for the week, went to the first GIFT of the year! (It was SO great to worship on campus again), and went to bed early to begin another week.
Today I begin my LAST four-a-day. I had conditioning at 6:15 this morning which allowed me to witness the sun rising on this new week. It began with cool air and a dark sky full of lightning to the west. We proceeded to the rec center to do our work out and got to watch the sun rise through the windows around the track. It was glorious. I am saying hello to this new week with eyes open to the glory of the Lord shining all around me.
