Inspired by Ann Voskamp's book 1,000 Gifts, I am on the lookout for God's unending flow of blessings in each day and each moment. I don't want any more of those moments to pass me by. Follow my search for joy in each day and maybe you too can look for the smallest ways God reveals himself in your own life.

Breath-taking Iowa
The weather has been crazy here lately. Last weekend we had a thunderstorm and lots of rain which froze slightly on its way down creating this slush mix falling from the sky. Then it froze with the chill from Iowa's wind and left a winterwonderland covered in ice. I had some "free-time" today so I took out my camera and got to play around. It wasn't very hard because most of the work was already done for me. When the sunlight shines on the ice everything sparkles and with the wind here lately the tree branches creak as they bend. I felt like I was in Narnia or some other land. Some of the trees are also bent way over due to the weight of the ice. It was a perfectly clear day today so I had to go out and enjoy God's breath-taking creation here in Iowa.
