Spend a day choosing to cover up the public mirrors, choosing to reject
unhealthy messages and focus on one's outer appearance, and instead choosing to
focus on inner beauty as God sees us!
Both me and Merissa got ready for the day without any mirrors and didn't wear makeup. It was quite refreshing to come back to our room and not be able to look in any mirrors. Although it almost made me more self-concious to think about myself without any makeup and then I realized that that is exactly what society wants us to think. We can be beautiful without any of that stuff, natural and beautiful.
I want you all to know that you are beautiful! No matter your age, size, height, weight, or hair color. You are just the way God wants you to be and you are loved!
