Inspired by Ann Voskamp's book 1,000 Gifts, I am on the lookout for God's unending flow of blessings in each day and each moment. I don't want any more of those moments to pass me by. Follow my search for joy in each day and maybe you too can look for the smallest ways God reveals himself in your own life.

Victory!!
My joy was beating our school rival Northwestern in soccer today!! We played very well, much better than before, and came out with a much needed win. The score was 3-2. We've lost our past 4 or 5 games to teams we could (and somtimes should) have beat so we needed this win BAD. We were falling into a slump so hopefully this will give us the momentum we need to keep playing our best against teams and WINNING. The girls team won today but the boys also won. It was a very physical game which was to be expected since they are our rival. Not only did the soccer teams win against Northwestern today but the volleyball team kicked some Raider butt and so did the softball team in a schrimmage against Northwestern. It was a good day for Dordt College athletics. It felt so good to win. I NEVER take losing very well. :) but I guess that's a good thing. Today we showed that we can pull ourselves back up and play like we were meant to play. I just want to give every game our best effort playing for an audience of one. So today I basked in the joy of victory, and it felt SO good. :)
